Jefferson Healthcare board approves Discovery Behavioral Health affiliation
PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson Healthcare board has unanimously voted in favor of affiliating the hospital with Discovery Behavioral Health, a local nonprofit and mental health care provider. The five commissioners voted at their Wednesday meeting to allow hospital CEO Mike Glenn to begin work on the affiliation.

United Good Neighbors surpasses fall fundraising goal by $50k
United Good Neighbors (UGN) surpassed its fall fund drive of $200,000 by raising $250,000 to help local health and human services organizations to assist Jefferson County citizens. The nonprofit annually holds a drive in the fall to raise funds for organizations such as the YMCA, Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) and Discovery Behavioral Health.
